Genetic pollution and threat of extinction

Wild Jungle fowl, specifically “Red Junglefowl” in India and South Asia are the ancestor of all Poultry Chickens.
These are thought to be facing a serious threat of extinction because of genetic pollution which is occurring at the edge of forests where domesticated free ranging chickens are commonly kept in bordering villages and towns, says AvianWeb

The extinction is one of the aspects of this genetic engineering issue. The other issue is on humans as raised in a Linked In question

A Wild Jungle fowl!
is there still one left?
show it to my village folks
it will be extinct in minutes.
Poultry Chickens?
They are a common.
Its ironic despite domestic poultry birds freely available folks still prefer the jungle ones.

That is actually the question raised here. Is there one left ? Is there one left without genetic contamination ?
